Dec 9, 2020 · If it is lose or floppy, most likely it is not turning the shaft that puts the PTO in gear. There should be a pin or bolt that goes through the linkage and shaft. If the wiring does not reveal any problem and a clutch adjustment does not resolve it, it may be time to replace the clutch. Also check on here. Dealer came out today and found the lock nut (bolt) for adjusting mower height adjustment was ready to come off. He tighten bolt and now mower deck will stay up and not go down in the TOP position. Should be right behind the rear left wheel. My BX24 has a double nut on a linkage rod that will allow the mower to raise more or less & release pressure so the knob will turn easier.

Should be a round knob right below your seat with a + and - dial on it. It controls how fast your 3ph (which your mid mount is linked to) drops with the lever. I like to tighten mine up to prevent my quick hitch from drooping down when it's just sitting in the garage. You may have to take a vise grip pillars to the dial shaft to break it loose. I had to do that to mine once.
